RSVP Improv Goes in Like a Lion
River Side Valley Players
March 2 & 3, 2018
From the bowels of winter, River Side Valley Players emerges from hibernation and springs into your consciousness with long-and short-form improvisation. Join RSVP as they interpret audience suggestions, transforming them into entertaining and thought-provoking art.
RSVP will explore a form developed by the legendary Los Angeles improv team Beer Shark Mice. In this form, known as a Slacker, scenes will follow characters as the setting jumps from place to place.
The short form portion of the show will include games in which audience volunteers will be invited to participate on stage, as well as a musical tip of the hat to St. Patrick’s Day.
Members of River Side Valley Players are Jenny Barrett, Jennifer Betz, Rollin DeVere III, Mort Goldman, Mark Remley, and Marianne Veniero. The troupe is directed by Tracy Cubbal.
Doors open at 7:30. Complimentary wine will be available in the dance studio prior to the show.
This show is not recommended for children.
