Chagrin Valley Little Theatre is, at its heart, people… the actors, ushers, musicians, designers, concession workers, painters, costumers, box office workers, and audiences that keep us going. We want you to be one of our people! Below, you’ll find information on how you can get involved behind the scenes (to get involved on stage, see our current audition notices).
Be Part of the Magic
We are seeking friendly individuals to serve as ushers, to serve in our concessions area during pre-show and intermission, and to help with other projects at the theatre. When you join our volunteer list, you will receive an email with important information regarding volunteer opportunities, responsibilities, and available time slots about one month prior to opening night for each production of the season. You may sign up for as many dates and times as you wish! Likewise, if your schedule only allows for one date, we appreciate all the help that can be provided!
Volunteers will be permitted to see the performance for free on the date that they have volunteered once all responsibilities are accomplished.
Our programs would not be possible without dedicated volunteers. We hope that you’ll join us to make CVLT’s second century even better!
Thank you!

Supporting Cast
Are you a fan of CVLT?
Join other theatre enthusiasts in Supporting Cast, the friendly auxiliary group founded in late 2023 to support the theatre in various volunteer capacities. The Supporting Cast also plans and executes various fun fundraising projects, including themed cookie sales and raffle baskets at many performances.
A business meeting is held on the 2nd Friday of most months at 11:30 AM in the River Street Playhouse. Otherwise, members communicate predominantly via email. Dues are just $20 annually.
To be put in contact with this welcoming, creative group, please call the Box Office at (440) 247-8955 or email boxoffice@cvlt.org
Paid Opportunities
Some stipend positions may be available for upcoming productions and will be posted on our Employment page as details become available.
