Evoking both tears and laughter, this powerful drama portrays a year in the lives of young men faced with the military draft lottery that will determine their fates – and forever alter the lives of friends and lovers who are left behind. 1970 is a Vietnam War-era “homefront” story set in fictional Chestnut Falls, Ohio.

First an acclaimed novel by Scott Lax (The Year That Trembled), then a 2002 movie starring Jonathan Brandis, Marin Hinkle, Martin Mull, Meredith Monroe and Fred Willard, CVLT's production marks the main stage debut of 1970. This two-weekend, limited run is sure to be a popular ticket.
