Since its establishment in the 1950s, the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre’s Youth Theatre program has fulfilled this mission with dedication and professionalism, while fostering cherished memories and a lifelong love for the stage among Northeast Ohio young people
We believe that performing on a stage in front of an audience teaches children discipline, self-confidence and responsibility, even if they never pursue acting as anything more than a hobby — and besides, it’s a whole lot of fun!

CVLT’s Youth Theatre programs are about more than just learning acting; they are an excellent opportunity for creativity and camaraderie. Young people in theatre programs will tell you they’ve forged lasting friendships and developed essential interpersonal skills along the way.

Playwriting Writers Workshop

A hands-on workshop introducing the fundamentals of writing for the stage. Students will learn to create compelling characters and develop original short scenes through collaborative exercises. Culminates in informal staged readings.

Summer Camp 2026
3-Week Summer Intensive

This comprehensive 3-week program offers aspiring actors, singers, dancers, and creatives a supportive environment to explore all aspects of the performing arts. Participants will engage in acting, vocal coaching, dance, and technical theatre work, culminating in a fully staged production for family and friends.
